Dare Greatly!
Everything worth doing requires that we “Dare Greatly.” We thread this concept through all that we do in and out of the classroom every day. Whether engaged in the challenge of solving a difficult problem set or putting the final touches on a group “Soap Box Derby” competition, our students are encouraged to take risks as they strive to do their best work.
Homeschool Hybrid (grades 6-12)
Our homeschool hybrid experience is defined by a balance of guidance and exploration. Our students receive tailored instruction that channels their curiosity into unfamiliar terrain and helps them make informed choices about their own educational pursuits.
Building Bonds
Building forever friends is just as important as building academic skills. We strive to create a welcoming environment where students form meaningful relationships. Surrounded by adults who understand this crucial developmental stage, our students engage in meaningful conversations with teachers, administrators, and coaches, all of whom serve as wise mentors who foster an environment for students to work collaboratively while fostering strong relationships.
Engage & Explore
We introduce students to new ideas and provides the freedom to explore developing interests. With a broad array of opportunities to hone technique, experiment widely, try, fail, and try again, students discover who they are and who they want to be at Discovery Prep and beyond.
Hands-On | Heads-In
Our students engage in activities and projects rather than simply listening to lectures or reading from textbooks. Our Quest-based experiences encourage students to be creative, enabling them to interact with the subject matter and see its application to the real world. Hands-on learning requires collaboration and communication, essential skills for success in school and beyond.

Discovery World Academy’s program prepares students for the future they want. Your son or daughter will develop personal responsibility while gaining vital knowledge and skills, many of which allow for a more flexible school day.
We offer a Core Academic Bundle program for Homeschool students, grades 6th-8th, and flexible a la carte programming for high school students.
